Thalim Foodstuff LLC is the group's FMCG distribution and trading arm in Kuwait, launched in 2026. The company distributes established food and consumer brands across the Kuwait market while also developing and selling its own-branded product range.
Running both tracks at once gives Thalim a practical advantage: third-party distribution generates immediate revenue and market presence, while the own-brand business builds something that belongs entirely to the group long term. Kuwait's FMCG market is competitive and brand-conscious. Thalim's approach is to find the gaps: the categories or price points where the right product can earn a loyal repeat buyer, rather than competing head-on with entrenched names. Because the group already operates CGS Wholesale and Retail Trading Co WLL and Shuhaib Al Khor in the same market, Thalim does not start from zero.
It has logistics, market knowledge, and trade relationships already in place. That foundation makes it one of the more strategically well-positioned new businesses in the group.
